Num-pad?

Did pushing the keys closer together make it possible to squeeze another column of keys in so we can get an enter key for our number-pad?

Thank You

Ok, you did it. You took most of our suggestions from the last thread and put them in this design -- good job! You make it, I'll buy it.

Power Light

Is that a power light in the top left corner (on the top face)? Can I control that light from the software?

Re: Power Light

I believe, this is an ambient light sensor which is needed to adjust the brightness to the ambient light.

A USB Port (as its specification) dilivers only 2.5W power (0.5A @ 5.0V) - That is not that much.

The Optimus Maximus has a power consumption of around 8-10W in operation, during the start up, a bit more. This with 113 Keys.
15 Keys are 7.5x less. So the power of one USB port (2.5W) could may be enough for running just the electronic and the display's.
But, the integrated USB Hub must also provide up to 2.5W on each port - total 5 Watt.

If I am right, I hope there is a possibilitiy to run it as USB-Powered device if the USB Hub is not used or the USB Hub can be disabled :-)

USB Hub Not Needed

I don't need this to be a USB hub... keep it simple.

Price

It's excellent, but what about price of this device? I think about purchase of Optimus Mini-Tree 2.0, and this Aux (pultius) is more functionally and usefull, as for me. It's obviously, that Aux's price will be higher, than Mini-Tree, but how mach?
Thank you now (smiling)
