Optimus Maximus Development Schedule

Plastic parts tooling will be ready by July 10.

OLED tooling will be ready by July 16.

Early August - fully functional prototype.

Bad news: after the develoopment and before mass production there's 10 weeks of waiting for the sertification procedures - CE, FCC, WEEE, ROHS. Most likely there will be something to be changed to comply with the regulations.



Please note that in Taiwan, just as in Russia, May 1st is a holiday called Labor Day (so no one works).

Production schedule:
November 31, 2007 - 200 keyboards
December 2007 - 200 keyboards
January 2008 - 400 keyboards

To be or not to be - the price for the Optimus Maximus keyboard with finalized specs is US$ 1564 (Shakespeare's birthday).
